If the settings in your BIOS menu are fine and you encounter the error message, skip to part 5 to fix it. On the other hand, if hard drive is missing on BIOS menu, you should go try the solution in part 4 after testing your hard drive. If not sure, you can test and diagnose if the hard disk is fine. How did you create a partition for installing Windows and Ubuntu? If yes, o n which partition you have installed Ubuntu From the error description, it appears the boot sector files are corrupt or missing.
The boot menu key might differ with each manufacturer. If you are unable to find the boot menu key, you may refer the user manual. Press any key. Select the correct time and Keyboard type.
