Maybe as you have installed Intellipoint even if it is not running , the driver sends different messages or handled the wheel itself.

Unfortunately I don't have a MS tilt mouse to test with so I can easily see if I can reproduce the problem. Maybe someone else with a MS tilt mouse can offer some feedback to me and you on this. Thanks, Phil.

I'm using a Logitech mouse I've tried using X-Mouse with logitech mouse software installed, then i tried it with the microsoft mouse software installed just in case , then I tried it with both mouse software programs uninstalled Basically, no matter what I've tried, I can't get X-Mouse to recognize my tilt wheel I'm running Windows 7.
